Fraz Siddiqui
Chief Financial Officer
Fraz Siddiqui is the Chief Financial Officer of Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC). In his role, Fraz is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Business Finance, Financial Planning and Business Performance, and Financial Governance and Reporting.
Fraz joined ADIC from Mubadala, where over a 17-year career, he held key roles such as Head of M&A, Head of Financial Services Investments, Head of Partnerships, Country Head for Japan, and Investment Committee member for Direct Investments at the company. Fraz was also a founding member of the Mubadala GE Capital Credit Joint Venture and served as an inaugural member of its Investment Committee. In addition to his investing responsibilities, Fraz has served on various boards representing Mubadala, including Sanad Leasing, Anglo Gulf Trading Bank, Equinox Gold (EQX (NYSEAMERICA)), Norstella and SR Technics in Switzerland.
Before joining Mubadala, Fraz worked at American Capital Strategies, a publicly traded buyout and mezzanine fund, which was acquired by Ares Capital. He began his career at Price Waterhouse.
Fraz holds a master’s degree in public accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in business from McGill University. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
