M.K is the Chief Investment Officer of Real Assets at Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC). In his current role M.K is responsible for building a well-diversified portfolio for infrastructure funds and co-investments. Prior to joining ADIC in 2020, he was with Global Infrastructure Partners as Managing Partner & Co-Head in India.

A seasoned infrastructure investor with over 30 years of experience across a spectrum of infrastructure deals in global markets, M.K. previously worked with GE Commercial Finance investing in infrastructure assets for over a decade, and was based out of their US, UK, Hong Kong, New Delhi and Singapore offices before moving to Mumbai in 2005 with IDFC.

At IDFC, he was the Managing Partner & CEO of IDFC Alternatives, which managed multiple India focused funds in Infrastructure, Private Equity, Real Estate and Venture capital.

M.K. holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur as well as an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
