Saeed Al Mazrouei
Managing Director & CEO
Saeed is the Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC).
He was previously the Deputy CEO of Mubadala’s Direct Investments platform, where he supported the delivery of the investment strategy, managing capital allocation and ensuring the successful implementation of capital deployment and monetization transactions.
Prior to working with the Direct Investments platform, Saeed was the Deputy CFO of Mubadala where he oversaw the group-wide finance function and delivery of the company’s growth strategy, supporting various acquisitive transactions and asset monetizations. He was also responsible for all Treasury activities including Mubadala’s bond issuances and project financing.
Prior to that, Saeed was seconded from Mubadala to spearhead the launch of the Debt Management Office (DMO) within the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance. During his time at the DMO, he led a number of transactions valued at more than USD $30 billion and which aimed to provide support funding to a number of entities in the banking and real estate sectors, as well as various government debt issuances.
Saeed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston, a Master’s degree in International Securities Investments and Banking from the University of Reading in the UK, and a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defense College in the UAE.
