Stefan is the Chief Investment Officer of Private Equity at Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC). In this role, he is responsible for building a concentrated portfolio of top performing managers in Buyouts and Venture Capital. Prior to joining ADIC in 2008, he previously served for more than ten years as the Chief Investment Officer of Private Equity at SEB Asset Management, where he spearheaded innovative investment strategies and drove significant portfolio growth.

Prior to this, Stefan also held pivotal roles at McKinsey & Company, where he provided strategic insights to clients across various industries, and Oracle, where he contributed to technological advancements in business management.

Stefan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, complemented by graduate studies in Engineering Economic Systems at Stanford University, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech (Honors, Tau Beta Phi), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Physics from Bowdoin College (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
